Effective at 8:00 p.m. on December 3rd, 2020, Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Shrader will implement temporary Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for all lands in Unincorporated Jefferson County.
Pursuant to the Annual Operating Plan regarding the implementation of Fire Restrictions and Fire Bans; and due to the continuing high fire danger condition within Jefferson County, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are being enacted. This temporary Fire Ban becomes effective at 8:00 P.M. on December 3rd, 2020, and shall remain in effect until superseded or repealed.

Additionally the Clear Creek Ranger District of the US Forest Service implemented a Stage 2 Fire ban effective Friday, July 10, 2020.
The Evergreen Fire Protection District is under a Level 2 Drought Restriction. The Evergreen Metropolitan Water District has announced this restriction will continue through the 2020 irrigation season due to low water levels in Bear Creek.
