Slash Burn Permits for 2016-2017:
The slash burn season ended on March 31, 2017. Applications for the 2017-2018 Slash Burn Season will be posted here at the end of summer.
Copies of the applications may be picked up and completed at the Evergreen Fire/ Rescue administration building at 1802 Bergen Parkway Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. Or you may choose the county you live in and complete the applications prior to bringing them to Evergreen Fire/ Rescue to be signed and processed.
Clear Creek County Residents: Please complete both the Clear Creek County and State of Colorado Applications if you are a resident of Clear Creek County or this is where the slash burn will take place. Both applications must be brought, sent, or emailed to Evergreen Fire/ Rescue to be signed before the permit will be processed. Applications may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. or faxed to 303.674.8701.
Jefferson County Residents: Please complete both applications (below) if you are a resident in Jefferson County or this is where the slash burn will take place. The application must be brought, sent, or emailed to Evergreen Fire/ Rescue to be signed before the permit will be processed. There is a fee for the Jefferson County Application of $80.00 payable to the county and provided to them with the signed permit from Evergreen Fire/Rescue before the permit will be issued. Applications may be emailed to email@example.com. or faxed to 303.674.8701.

Defensible space inspections are not available through Evergreen Fire Rescue. Jefferson County maintains a list of companies certified for these inspections, see below for their list.
