Statement Regarding Growth and Development:
Evergreen Fire Protection District (EFPD) operates under the tradename Evergreen Fire/Rescue (EFR). EFR provides emergency services and review of plans for development, commercial and residential buildings, and building protection systems. EFR personnel evaluates these projects and plans on the merits of adopted local, State, and Federal codes, standards and regulations, working closely with its sister departments within Clear Creek County and Jefferson County Planning/Zoning, Building Safety, and Traffic Engineering to provide and foster a safe built community. However, it is not the role of EFPD to make land use and zoning decisions, or the position of EFR or EFPD to be the determinant of which projects are deemed acceptable within these legal limits. As a special district, the EFR personnel will serve all of the residences and properties located within the boundaries of EFPD.
