Burn Permits

Slash Burn Window is November 1 to March 31
and Requires a Burn Permit.

Pile burning, a type of prescribed fire, is an important tool in helping to protect communities from extreme wildfires by removing excess vegetation or “fuel” available to a fire.

Burn permits are required within EFR’s fire district and are issued by the county, not Evergreen Fire/Rescue. Please select the county of the location of the burn and complete the application instructions.

Campfires

Evergreen Fire Rescue encourages using due diligence with any live fire. In the absence of any campfire bans/restrictions campfires must be reported to our dispatch center, Jeffcom, at their non-emergency (303) 980-7300 or to their online reporting app at Jeffcom911.org.
